CBS Issue Tracking Tips
Here are some tips for using the CBS Issue Tracking System:
1. The SUMMARY section of an issue should be brief, like the subject of an e-mail. The DESCRIPTION section of an issue should contain the details, explaining the who?, what?, when?, where?, why?, and how? concerning the issue.
2. The SUMMARY section is reproduced in system e-mails from CBS Issue Tracking. Because these e-mails are not secure and subject to identity theft by unscrupulous parties, please do not include any personal identifying information -- account numbers of any kind, SSNs, member/non-member names, credit/debit/ATM card numbers, etc. -- in the SUMMARY section.
Please place personal identifying information in the DESCRIPTION section, in the ACTIVITY NOTES, or as an ATTACHMENT to the issue.
3. Please do not open a new issue to follow up an existing open or pending issue. Please type the follow-up information in the DESCRIPTION section of the existing open or pending issue. Follow-up e-mails to you contain handling instructions at the bottom.
4. You can access the CBS Issue Tracking System from the Access CBS Issue Tracking link on the CAMS-ii Level One Help menu or on the CBS Message Center.
The CAMS-ii Help has a section on using the CBS Issue Tracking System in the CAMS-ii How-To's that provides more information.
