An Update to Opening New Windows or Tabs in CAMS-ii
NOTE: This posting was originally published in December 2009. We are re-posting this as a reminder because some credit unions have experienced problems associated with this issue. This paragraph in italics below has been added to the original.
If you are running CAMS-ii within a Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 8 browser or a Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 9 browser, DO NOT open another CAMS-ii window from the PC desktop CAMS-ii icon as we advised in the "Opening New Windows or Tabs in CAMS-ii" posting. A Microsoft update to Internet Explorer 8 affects the way new sessions are established. CAMS-ii does not operate properly in more than one Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 9 instance. We are exploring possible resolutions to this issue.
In addition, DO NOT open a new tab in an existing instance/window of CAMS-ii running in Internet Explorer 8.
This applies only to Internet Explorer 8. You can still click the CAMS-ii icon on your desktop to run CAMS-ii more than one browser instance of Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7 as stated in the "Opening New Windows or Tabs in CAMS-ii" posting.
