Security Reminder for CBS Issue Tracking Users
Occasionally, Issue Tracking users place personal identifying information--names, account numbers, SSNs, Internet Branching IDs, and so forth--in the Summary section of an issue.
This is to remind you that the information from the Summary section of an issue appears in emails that originate from the CBS Issue Tracking System. Unencrypted, unprotected emails are subject to exploitation by identity thieves.
Placing personal identifying information in the Summary section of an issue may expose your members to identify theft.
Please DO NOT place any personal identifying information in the Summary section of an issue. Think of this area just as you would the subject of an email: a brief description of the issue.
Place personal identifying information in the Description section.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.
