CBS Issue Tracking Reminders

Here are some reminders for making the best use of the CBS Issue Tracking System. (Help > Access Issue Tracking System)

1. The Summary section should contain a BRIEF statement, like the subject of an e-mail. The detailed explanation belongs in the Description section.

2. The Summary section cannot contain any personal identifying information (account numbers, card numbers, SSANs, names, etc.) because the Summary section is transmitted verbatim in an unsecured e-mail. This can expose your members to possible identity theft.

3. The Description should contain the details of an issue: Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? You can also place personal identifying information here or in a customer note.

4. The CBS Issue Tracking System can also handle attachments, so there's no need to send them via e-mail. The CAMS-ii Help has instructions for submitting the contents of an e-mail with an attachment. The attachments are then submitted via a password-protected link.

5. Please use the support@camsbycbs.com e-mail address only when CBS Issue Tracking is unavailable to you or to ask for a closed issue to be re-opened (Please state why it should be re-opened) ... unless otherwise asked to send it to that address by a CBS employee.

6. If an issue is open or pending, please do not open another issue to add information or send an e-mail about the open/pending issue. Please add the information to the Description section of the original issue.

Please submit any questions concerning this post to the CBS Issue Tracking System.
