Important Message for Credit Unions Pulling Credit Reports from Equifax
For all Credit Unions pulling Equifax Credit Reports:
Recently, you may have received an email from Equifax concerning of an “Important Equifax System Change.†The email discusses selecting two options from a number of Equifax Combo Report options.
CBS supports only Combo Report Output Format Codes 31 and 63. These forms allow us to provide the printable credit reports to you and to provide the data that allows us to automatically populate your loan applications.
CBS has no plans to develop any other human-readable reports based because it would eliminate the dual functions that the combo report formats provide us.
Please submit any questions concerning this message to the CBS Issue Tracking System or your Support Center.
Using the CBS Issue Tracking System
From time to time, we post important reminders concerning the CBS Issue Tracking System. These reminders communicate ideas to help you use the system more efficiently and for us to manage it with service and security to you in mind.
- Whenever any of the credit union staff members with access to CBS Issue Tracking System leave your employment, change their e-mail address, or no longer need access to the CBS Issue Tracking System, please contact us by submitting an issue describing the change or changes as soon as possible to discontinue access to your issues or to continue their ability to receive e-mails concerning issues that the staff member has submitted.
- Please do not add another issue the Issue Tracking System to follow-up on a previously entered inquiry. Add your inquiry or follow-up information to the existing issue's Description section.
- While typing in all caps may have been a requirement of previous software versions, please type your entries in normal upper/lower case. In the online world, typing in all caps is considered yelling.
- Whenever possible, please attach documents to the issue in the Issue Tracking System rather than e-mailing them, it offers them the same password-protected security afforded your issues by the Issue Tracking System.
Thank you and have a Happy St. Patrick's Day.
