It is required that these interface changes<br \/>\nbe made prior to the upcoming month-end \/ quarter-end batch processing session<br \/>\n(which will be September 30, 2014 for most customers). The Consumer Financial<br \/>\nProtection Bureau (CFPB) rulings concerning financing Credit Life and Credit Disability<br \/>\nInsurance, which are now referred to as Loan Protection, have necessitated<br \/>\nthese changes. The loan protection costs will now be calculated and accrued during<br \/>\neach month-end batch processing. All subsequent loan payments will collect any<br \/>\naccrued loan protection costs before allocating any of the payment towards escrow,<br \/>\nlate charges, principal and interest.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to GL > System Tasks > Redefine\/Rebuild Interface.<\/li>\n<li> Navigate through the interface questions\/answers section until you locate the<br \/>\nfollowing Loan Protection entries and then associate the appropriate general<br \/>\nledger account number to each item.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Loan Protection Cost Receivable<\/li>\n<li>Loan Protection Cost (Life)<\/li>\n<li> Loan Protection Cost (Disability)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please consult the CAMS-ii HELP for information on Rebuilding and Redefining<br \/>\nthe G\/L Interface.
