For credit unions using CAMS-ii Member Notebook:<\/em><\/p>\n

The 4.8.0 release enhances the Assigned To<\/b> drop-down list of CAMS-ii users to use the respective Mailbox ID much like in the CAMS-ii Mail system.<\/p>\n

To make this change happen, the CAMS-ii 4.8.0 release installation program is designed to examine all Notebook entries and to adjust the teller association to the respective Mailbox Numbers as set up in Teller ID Maintenance (Back Office > Standard > Parameters)<\/b>.<\/p>\n

To ensure the success of this revision, before<\/b> your CAMS-ii is updated to Release 4.8.0, you must adjust <\/b> the Mailbox Number for all Teller records in Teller ID Maintenance as described in the example that follows:<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/b> Before you adjust a Teller ID, make sure that the tellers have been logged out of the Teller IDs to be changed.<\/i><\/p>\n

For example, a user, CU Teller<\/i>, has Teller IDs 0101, 0201, and 0301 to match the three branches where that person may work. To adjust each Teller ID to accommodate this change, all the Teller IDs assigned to CU Teller -- 0101, 0201, and 0301 \u00e2\u20ac\u201d must be set to 0101 in the Mailbox Number text box in the Teller ID Maintenance. For each Teller ID that is a vault teller, ATM teller, iPad teller, etc.-\u00e2\u20ac\u201c essentially, any Teller ID without a human user assigned -- set the Mailbox Number to zero. The Member Notebook program bypasses any Teller IDs with the Mailbox Number set to 0000.<\/p>\n

Updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In response to some questions from credit unions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. All mail that is currently under all of your different Mailbox IDs will NOT transfer to the one main mailbox for the Teller ID that you are setting up, so if you have mail that you need to reference, forward it to the main mailbox you set up prior to the release. It will appear as new mail in the main mailbox for all of your Teller IDs.\n

    Using the example above, <\/I>CU Teller forwards mail from Teller IDs 0201 and 0301 to Teller ID 101 before the adjustment occurs, so that all of the forwarded messages will appear in the mailbox for Teller ID 0101 as new mail.<\/li>\n

  2. After the mailboxes are adjusted, all new messages addressed to the Teller ID will go to the mailbox set up for that Teller ID.\n

    Using the example above,<\/em> all new mail mesages addressed to Teller ID 0201 and 0301 will appear only in the mailbox for Teller 0101, along with the mail addressed to Teller 0101.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
