The instructions for Redefine/Rebuild the G/L Interface are in the CAMS-ii Help (CAMS-ii How-To's > General Ledger > General Ledger System Tasks > Redefine/Rebuild G/L Interface).

Issue: Some credit unions have experienced a problem with loan collections caused by an incorrect credit card parameter configuration. When some loans do not appear in the Loans > Collections > Collections navigation screen and when you click the red COLLECT link on the Member Balances screen for these loans, a 911 error may appear.

Resolution: If your credit union is licensed for Collections, review the Card Control Data screen (Back Office > Standard > Parameters > Card Services > Credit Card Control Data) in the Card Bin/Sub Accounts/Account Types section. If your credit union does not allow your members to see/make payments via the Audio Response system, make sure that the Card Bin entries are set to zero and Sub Account and Account Types are set to No Value Selected.

If you are setting up a credit card for use in the Collections system, the Audio Support check box must not be selected unless credit cards are also available via audio. If your credit union is not licensed for Collections, then contact CBS via the Issue Tracking System to correct the problem.

Issue: At least one credit union had a member account (no money involved) set up with a zero as a base member account number (The system should not allow this for new accounts). This causes the Collection Maintenance screen to display this member as the Member Attorney. The system does not recognize a member account number with a leading zero, so it determined that it was a non-member account for an attorney.

Resolution: Contact CBS support to remove the zero account number.

Issue: Method Two Check holds could create holds for excessive days.

Resolution: If a number other than a zero populates the Control-Master parameter setting (Back Office > Standard > Parameters), Days To Class Member New For Add On Holds, the release did not modify this setting to 9999 as it should. We have seen some credit unions where this was a proper value and some where it was not. The credit union should review and modify any improper settings.

Listed below are some important items that have arisen after the installation of the CAMS-ii version 2.8.0 release that may require your attention.
