CBS Changes for Same-Day ACH Fifth File
Effective March 19, 2021, there will be a fifth ACH file that you must process daily. In many cases, this file will be available after normal working hours.
Accordingly, we are adding an additional time for credit unions for which we import ACH files. If you do not automatically post your ACH files, you must manually post the ACH file; otherwise, the final ACH file will post during end-of-day batch processing.
If you want to upgrade your ACH process so that CBS imports your ACH files for you, please contact CBS Sales via the CTT to schedule setup in the near future.
If you want CAMS-ii to automatically post your files, please contact CBS Support via the CTT.
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION: If you have payroll splits or allocations, we recommend against automatically posting ACH because it bypasses the ACH Workfile and Company ID Maintenance processes.
