For credit unions that offer e-Alerts…

The CAMS-ii™ version 5.4.0 Release, which has just become available to you, has caused an error for those members using e-Alerts.

If your credit union does not offer e-Alerts, this error should not affect you or your members.

If a member has set up an e-Alert to advise of a deposit to her/his account, they receive another email that says the following:

To pay your Escrow Account Shortage as a lump sum and lower your payment, please return this coupon and a check for the amount above to the address shown on this coupon. It is important for you to include this coupon to ensure timely processing of your escrow shortage payment. If you choose not to pay any shortage amount at this time, no response is needed.

Members should ignore this email.

All credit unions that offer e-Alerts have been updated to fix this issue.
