Popup Blockers
We recommend that you do not activate popup blockers on your workstations. Popup blockers can interfere with proper function of CAMS-ii.
Sometimes Adobe® Reader® prompts you to download an update to your Adobe® Reader® software. When you download the Adobe Reader update, it contains an option to download the Yahoo!® and/or Google™ toolbar. We recommend that you DO NOT select these options. They contain popup blockers that may cause some CAMS-ii functions to operate improperly.
Also, we have found that the worm protection in anti-virus software can block file transfers between the CAMS-ii host and workstations. In Norton AntiVirusâ„¢ software follow these steps to disable the worm protection before attempting a file transfer:
Click the Norton Antivirusâ„¢ icon in the lower right corner of your screen. Click Open. In the Norton screen, click Option. Uncheck the Enable Internet Worm Protection check box. You can re-enable the worm protection once you have finished with the file transfers for the day.
