URGENT! Possible Phishing Attempts

Some credit unions using our Internet Branching service have reported that their members have received an email alerting them that there has been fraudulent action with their Internet Branching account. The email contains a link that brings the member to a replica of the credit union’s Log In screen. The screen then asks for credit card information and other personal information from the member. This is not an action sanctioned/created by CBS.

Recommend that you alert your members to this possibility. Members will never be asked to provide personal identifying data or to provide credit card information as part of the log in procedure.

We can also assist with posting alerts on your CBS-managed web site and Internet Branching site. Please contact us at support@camsbycbs.com for this assistance or for any questions concerning this Phishing attempt.

Update on Rebuilding the G/L after installing CAMS-ii version 2.3.0

You must rebuild your G/L Interface (button 2) under these circumstances:

  • After CAMS-ii version 2.3.0 is installed
  • Before you run End-of-Quarter Batch Processing for March
  • This applies to ALL credit unions using CAMS-ii

IMPORTANT: As you rebuild the G/L interface, check the two lines for Credit Disability Insurance to ensure that they are associated with the G/L accounts that you want. The CAMS-ii 2.3.0 release is reusing a transaction code that may cause the Credit Disability Insurance lines to report to the wrong G/L accounts.

Please address any question regarding this issue to support@camsbycbs.com.
