Performing G/L Automatic Closing

Please remember that to perform the G/L Automatic Closing successfully, the CAMS-ii system date must be in the month following the period you are closing.

For example, if you are closing the second quarter (April, May, June), the system date must be in July. This rule applies whether you close monthly or quarterly. Year-end closing allows two calendar months, January and February, to complete the process.

Reminder: Internet Explorer version Upgrades

This is a reminder that if you are still seeing this message:We will be phasing out your browser soon. For details click here, concerning your Microsoft® Internet Explorer® version on your workstations and CAMS-ii servers.

It means that you still must upgrade the Internet Explorer version 6 browser to Internet Explorer version 8, unless the computer already uses Internet Explorer version 7, as CAMS-ii soon will require features that Internet Explorer version 6 does not have.

To check your browser version, go to Help > About Internet Explorer on the Internet Explorer menu bar. If the computer uses Internet Explorer version 7, you do not need to upgrade your browser version to Internet Explorer version 8.

IMPORTANT: Any time that you upgrade your Internet Explorer version or change any Internet Explorer settings, the settings must conform to CBS' Internet Explorer configuration settings. The instructions are available in the CAMS-ii Help at CAMS-ii How-To's > Back Office > Configuring Internet Explorer for CAMS-ii Workstations.
