HMDA, ULI, and LEI Information
This is the follow-up information on HMDA reporting that was promised in the Important: HMDA ULI and CAMS-ii posting on December 21, 2017. Recommend that you review that CBS Message Center posting for questions on ULIs and LEIs.
On January 2, 2018, your CAMS-ii server will be updated to include programming for the HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act) to support new reporting requirements for HMDA regarding LEIs (Legal Entity Identifiers) and ULIs (Universal Loan Identifiers).
This programming requires that you have your credit union's LEI (Legal Entity Identifier) available.
- Go to Back Office > Standard > Parameters > CAMS-ii System Properties.
- In the CAMS-ii Properties navigation screen, scroll to the HMDA category, hmda_lei Property Name.
- In the Property Description/Value text box for the hmda_lei property type your credit union's LEI.
- In the CAMS-ii System Properties navigation screen, click Accept.
Once the LEI is configured in the CAMS-ii System Properties, the system creates the ULI. You do not have to change the LEI again unless your CU's LEI changes.
The Loan Application has an HMDA section for you to complete. The information in the HDMA section is your responsibility to complete. The ULI appears once you have completed the HMDA section and clicked Accept.
The HMDA table in the CAMS-ii Data Miner contains the HMDA elements which you can use to create queries and reports.
Correction to Update to CAMS-ii version 5.4.6
A new CAMS-ii Update will take effect on October 25, 2017, not October 24, 2017. It contains the following additions and bug fixes.
Any applicable Issue Tracking issue numbers follow the issue in parentheses.
Additions
- Added a warning to Loans when a required field is left empty. (#74547)
- Added compatibility for TLS 1.2 encryption for TransUnion credit reports. (#2202)
- Added a method to the Document Retrieval Manager (DRM) that allows you to retrieve Teller Advance In and Teller Advance Out receipts using the Member Receipts option in the Document Description filter and typing 0 (zero) in the Account Base text box.
- The From and To filters in the DRM are now restricted to a fixed length of time. The
restriction applies only to tellers that do NOT have administrative rights. This restriction is controlled by a two CAMS-ii System Properties: drm_range_days_default (default is 7), which is the default number of days between the filters; and drm_max_days_range_default, which is the maximum number of days for the drm_range_days_default property. - The Jaguar interface search feature now automatically adds a slash in the Date when the date is typed.
NOTE: If the maximum number of days is set to less than the default number of days, the default overrides the maximum number of days.(#2052)
