Important Message for Credit Unions Pulling Credit Reports from Equifax
For all Credit Unions pulling Equifax Credit Reports:
Recently, you may have received an email from Equifax concerning of an “Important Equifax System Change.†The email discusses selecting two options from a number of Equifax Combo Report options.
CBS supports only Combo Report Output Format Codes 31 and 63. These forms allow us to provide the printable credit reports to you and to provide the data that allows us to automatically populate your loan applications.
CBS has no plans to develop any other human-readable reports based because it would eliminate the dual functions that the combo report formats provide us.
Please submit any questions concerning this message to the CBS Issue Tracking System or your Support Center.
Changes to the CAMS-ii Archiving Media
In April 2012, CBS will begin the process of eliminating the creation of removable media (CDs/DVDs) for all CAMS-ii archived information. All such archived data will be stored/hosted on a remote server located in a secure data center.
This enhanced archiving process will no longer require credit unions to receive and register archived information from removable media, will no longer require credit union storage of removable media, and will enhance the security of your data.
All credit unions will not be converted at the same time! As the transition is completed for your credit union, you will be notified by CBS.
Please do not call CBS regarding this change as we will provide more specifics as your conversion date approaches.
