CAMS-ii, CAMS-ii Internet Branching, the Heartbleed Bug and Open SSL

We are receiving numerous support items asking about the Heartbleed Bug, which is a serious vulnerability in the popular OpenSSL cryptographic software library.

None of CBS's online servers that host CAMS-ii Internet Branching or CAMS-ii are affected because they are not running the referenced versions 1.0.1 through 1.0.1f (inclusive).

Please pass this information to your members as you deem necessary.

CAMS-ii and OFAC’s Foreign Sanctions Evaders List

Some credit unions are asking us about the availability of OFAC's Foreign Sanctions Evaders List for CAMS-ii OFAC Scanning.

Soon, we will be adding the Foreign Sanctions Evaders List to the files that the CAMS-ii retrieves during batch processing whenever the list's content changes, and end-of-day scans will take place with a change to this list.

We will inform you when CAMS-ii includes the OFAC's Foreign Sanctions Evaders List via release notice and/or posting on this message center.
