CBS Steering Committee Seeks New Members

Good day!

As CBS Steering Committee Chairperson, I would like to invite all user credit unions to become actively involved with the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee exists to provide users direct input into the product that is vital to all of our operations... the CAMS-ii software platform. Producing the highest quality CAMS-ii possible serves all of us... user credit unions, our staffs, our members and CBS.

When you serve on the Steering Committee, you speak on behalf of yourself and your credit union’s entire staff. You bring your ideas, suggestions, comments, complaints and questions directly to the table... to be discussed and considered by CBS staff and your fellow credit unions. Together we work as a TEAM to consider “big picture” issues involving CAMS-ii as well as potential new innovations. But we also address “nuts and bolts” questions that affect the fundamental usability of our platform. The key point is that our input is HEARD because the CBS decision makers are a part of our team.

The Steering Committee usually meets once per quarter at CBS... typically from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more productive use of your time.

Again, I encourage you to join the Committee and help us work together to build a stronger software platform that will serve our staff and member needs today and in the future. If you are interested, feel free to contact me via e-mail at csmith@freedomfcu.com or at 252-442-8888, extension. 235.
